We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Consultant - Cyber Security. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting both internal and external customers who are having technical issues with the product. They will help customers navigate the operational challenges of cloud computing, thoroughly training them on both the product and the infrastructure on which it is built. The selected candidate will report to the Head of Advisory – Cloud Platform and Transformation Services.

The Consultant - Cyber Security will be responsible for:

• The provision of 24x7 Information Security Monitoring and Surveillance
• Analysis of security events, logs, and escalation of security incidents
• Monitoring incidents, performing and coordinating Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Monitoring open tickets for incidents and vulnerabilities, and incident responses
• Escalating unresolved problems to higher levels of support, including the incident responses and vulnerability mitigation teams
• Advising affected users on the appropriate course of action
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation, including processes and procedures related to Security Operations Center, security incidents, and preventive maintenance procedures
• Preparation of monthly security incident reports and presentation
• Liaising with Managed SOC services providers and other security product and service vendors
• Liaising with LoBs in regard to information security incidents and findings

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree in cyber security with a minimum of 1 year of work experience in the IT industry
  • A deep understanding of cloud security technologies, related architectural network landscape, access management, administration, application support, modern authentication protocols, and cybersecurity principals
  • Certifications in either CCNA, SSCP, Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, Comptia Sec+
  • Technical support experience and experience with numerous cloud technologies is a major plus
