Job Description
The role of the Delivery Rider is to ensure timely and safe delivery of products to our customers. The position requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can deliver products quickly and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Pick up and deliver products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that all products are handled and transported safely and with care.
- Follow routes and schedules provided by the company, and ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure all delivery requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure all necessary documents and paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including ensuring the delivery vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
Experience & Overview
- Previous experience as a delivery rider is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Colombo roads and traffic regulations is required.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance is desirable.
- The ability to use a GPS or navigation app is required.
Requirement
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Good time-management skills.
- Good driving skills and a valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to speak English, Sinhala & Tamil is an added advantage.
- Age between 20-35 years.
