Intern - Academic Quality Assurance
Tutopiya, is a pioneer in quality online education and technology, is seeking a dynamic Intern for Training and Quality Assurance to join our Academic Quality Control Team. As an Intern - Academic Quality Assurance, you will play a crucial role in evaluating tutors and upholding the academic quality of our tutoring services. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the performance of current tutors based on evaluation schemes created by Tutopiya, ensuring the maintenance of set standards. You will provide feedback to tutors, address any areas of concern, and support their professional development through retraining and mentoring. Additionally, you will conduct gap analysis, present data to identify training needs, and collaborate with subject specialists to schedule and organize training for existing tutors
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current tutors based on evaluation schemes created by Tutopiya to standardize and maintain set academic standards.
- Provide constructive feedback to tutors, addressing any areas of concern and facilitating their professional growth.
- Organize and conduct progress reviews, retraining sessions, and mentorship programs for tutors.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and present data-driven insights to support training needs and interventions for tutors.
- Collaborate with subject specialists to understand training gaps and needs, and work alongside them to schedule and organize training sessions for existing tutors.
- Contribute to various projects aimed at standardizing the quality assurance process, with a strong focus on the academic component.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field of online education and quality assurance, and propose innovative ideas for improving academic quality.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Strong passion for online education and a keen interest in maintaining academic quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital platforms and technology for communication and training purposes.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and methodologies in the education sector is desirable.
- Prior experience in tutoring or mentoring is a plus.
