Our institute serves as a leading center for expertise in understanding the complexities of food, exploring new food technologies, and addressing challenges in the food industry.

Position Overview:

As an R&D intern at SL FOOD TECH, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced product development team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will contribute to the creation of new food products, from ideation to formulation and testing, and play a crucial role in bringing innovative concepts to life. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in the food industry and the opportunity to learn from industry experts.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in brainstorming and developing new food product concepts.

· Conduct research on market trends, consumer preferences, and ingredient functionality.

· Collaborate with the team to formulate and refine product recipes.

· Participate in pilot-scale production and assist in product testing and analysis.

· Document and analyze experimental data, including sensory evaluations.

· Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient laboratory environment.

· Stay up to date with industry advancements and contribute to the team's knowledge base.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing/completing a Bachelor's degree or waiting for an internship in Food Science, Nutrition, Biological Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in food product development and a passion for creating innovative and healthy food options.
• Basic knowledge of food science principles and product development processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with food safety and quality standards is a plus.
