Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

We are looking for a talented software professional to join our Research and Development Centre in Colombo and be a part of our team of 300+ problem solvers who build brilliant tech, influencing billions of users globally.  

What We Are Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• 3+ years’ experience in application development with .NET.
• Good knowledge of agile software development (e.g. Scrum).
• Familiarity with project collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA).
• Good communication skills in English (verbal/written).
• Server-side development skills in C#, ASP.NET MVC 5, Razor.
• Client-side development skills in JavaScript, jQuery and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of frontend JavaScript frameworks (React with Redux).
• UI development skills using HTML, SCSS and Foundation framework.
• Experience in ORM frameworks (Linq2Sql and Entity Framework).
• Understanding of Redis caching and session state maintenance.
• Knowledge of managing server push notifications using SignalR.
• Knowledge of building tools such as Gulp and Webpack.
• Database skills in SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• A self‐motivated and results driven individual, and technology enthusiast.

• Liaise with domain and technical experts to discuss ideas and suggestions.
