Our fast-growing software development firm is seeking talented and motivated Associate Software Engineers to join our team in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative software projects and collaborate with a team of experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain software applications. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, work with cutting-edge technologies, and gain practical experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with experienced developers in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
- Write clean and maintainable code and perform unit testing using various programming languages and frameworks
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and solve software-related issues
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Test software to identify and resolve issues and ensure functionality
- Document software design, architecture, and development processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development
Qualifications & Requirments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, or Dart
- Experience working hands-on with at least one framework or library, such as ReactJS, Angular, Flutter, ReactNative, NodeJS, and SpringBoot.
- Knowledge of software development principles, best practices, and design patterns
- Familiarity with software development tools and technologies, such as Git, Jira, and Agile methodology
- Experience with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
