We are seeking a Business Development Manager for Colombo Coffee Company, the leading coffee company in Sri Lanka. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the General Manager, Board of Directors, and Sales team to drive the company’s next phase of growth.
The ideal candidate will take leadership of several new initiatives to expand the business. This is a multi-faceted role requiring experience in Marketing, Business Strategy and Leadership in order to be successful.
Areas of responsibility for the candidate:
Business Development
· Drive the development of the company’s growth strategy, from customer segments to new channels to new products
· Identify the optimal route to achieve growth ambitions, and prioritize efforts accordingly
Marketing
· Drive the company’s marketing strategy, building up awareness amongst B2B and B2C segments
· Identify suitable vendors to support in marketing efforts, and owning relationships with such vendors
An ideal candidate will possess:
· Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing or business development
· Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
· Proven track record of driving sales growth of an organization
· Exposure in Leisure, F&B, and consumer sectors, and a wide network therein will be an advantage
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Professional qualification such as CIM or SLIM
· Big-picture thinking and end-product focus
· Critical thinking and the ability to work independently
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong numerical ability
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
