We are looking for a passionate and driven IT project manager to be part of our high-performance, cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects across our organization. This includes all program lifecycle deliverables during the standard phases of the agreed Project Management Methodology, i.e. Concept, Feasibility, Design & Planning, Build & Implementation, and Finalisation. In order to do this successfully, this person should feel comfortable handling multiple tasks at a time.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, tasks, and resource allocation.
- Take ownership of testing, research, and implementation of new tools and techniques.
- Build and lead a cross-functional project team. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure effective collaboration and communication within the team.
- Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take necessary actions to minimize their impact.
- Develop project budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Manage project scope, including defining and documenting requirements, controlling changes, and ensuring alignment with project objectives and customer expectations.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Create and maintain project documentation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project team and the organization.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT project management.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Solid understanding of software development concepts, technologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with programming languages, databases, cloud technologies, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address project issues and risks.
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven experience in leading and working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
