Job Description

Candidate should be able to work as an individual and should be self-motivated and highly ambitious. The job description includes the following activities

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work in an agile environment with strong commitment to team goals and demonstration of scrum values
  • Active participation in all Scrum ceremonies (Daily stand up, Sprint planning, Grooming, Sprint retrospective and Sprint reviews)
  • Understand the application logic and code
  • Exhibit strong debugging and analytical skills while resolving issues
  • Acquire knowledge in business domain and application workflow
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs of the project/requirements and meet deadlines with quality
  • Coordinate on updates, Understands issues & problems and takes initiative to resolve
  • Review the requirements and test the work products assigned based on analysis and develop and design within the stipulated time
  • Review technical design, code and business documentation
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders for achieving the sprint commitments
  • Ability to document the code changes with quality and supportability in mind
  • Creation of unit test cases, test data based on the user stories/requirements defined
  • Participate in walk-through, inspections, review meetings
Essential
  • Overall Software Development/Support Life Cycle experience
  • Graduate or Post graduate from a reputed institute
  • Technology
    • Eight(+) years’ experience as a developer (lead developer would be a plus)
    • Eight(+) year’s experience with ASP.NET/C#.NET.
    • Git
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
    • Eight(+) years working with SQL Server (2016/2019 preferred)
    • Solid experience as Open Systems developer (.NET) on enterprise level business web applications
    • Strong background in OO design, development and best practices with focus on design and architecting capabilities
      • Solid understanding of the Waterfall and Agile Software Development methods.
      • Analyzing Information, Software Debugging, Software Documentation, Software Testing
      • Deep knowledge of the .NET 4.0/4.6 Framework, including Visual Studio 2019/2022, C#, ASP.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services, MVC, .NET Framework 4.6+, .NET 5+ and ADO.NET.
      • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
      • Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
      • Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2016/2019 stored procedures.
      • Experience with JQuery, AJAX (CSS, Javascript libraries, knockout.js, Angular.js are a plus)
      • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
      • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
      • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
      • ColdFusion experience a plus
    • Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices while leading and mentoring a team of developers.
Soft skills
  • Good team player with sound oral and written communication skills
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Experience as both a team member and / or team leader in a multiple-project environment
  • Knowledge of Financial domain (Retirement or Mutual Fund)
