Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of skilled DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective DevOps strategies
- Maintain and enhance our existing DevOps processes, automation workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of our guest engagement platform hosted on Amazon AWS
- Implement and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
- Monitor uptime, system health and troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring timely resolution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement security best practices and compliance standards
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
- Provide regular status updates, reports, and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of technical management experience, preferably in a DevOps/SRE role
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Amazon AWS services, including Route53, ANC, EKS, EC2, RDS, Elasticache, Elasticsearch, EMR, SES, SNS and more
- Proven track record of managing and leading DevOps teams, with a focus on successful project delivery
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation
- Experience working with guest engagement platforms for restaurants and virtual kitchens is a definite plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with security best practices, compliance standards, and monitoring tools
