Position Summary
Council has an opportunity to appoint 11 maximum-term full time Business Administration Trainees across several areas of Council. These areas include
- Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum
- Community Partnerships
- Tondoon Botanic Gardens
- Biosecurity & Environmental Health
- Local Law Compliance
- Development Services
- Workshops
- Operations Support Services
- Learning & Development
- Health Safety & Wellbeing
- Events & Entertainment
The employment contract will commence on Monday 29 January 2024 for a 12 month period.

Council is looking for motivated candidates who have a strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed as part of a high performing team.
If you value integrity, honesty, are reliable, with good attention to detail, and are a strong communicator with developed interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines we encourage you to apply.
Please be advised that the preferred candidate for this position, as a condition of employment, may be required to complete a pre-employment medical, criminal history check and attend and participate in a skills assessment and assessment centre to further evaluate suitability for the position.
