Role Profile

DevOps Engineer at LSEG is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the Continuous Integration and Continues Delivery pipelines which underpins our SDLC lifecycle. They also build tools & operational processes to improve productivity of the entire organization.
The intern is expected to work independently with guidance provided by our senior DevOps Engineers in carrying out day to day duties. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross functional teams to implement, test, maintain and deploy different DevOps tools.

With guidance the candidate will contribute in the following capacities:
  • Help configure DevOps tools (Continues Integration and Continues Delivery) for the team and monitor the DevOps infrastructure.
  • Involve in scripting and automate mundane tasks
  • Plan and execute automated test suits
  • Evaluate various DevOps tools
  • Document internal processes


Required Skills And Experience
  • Should have knowledge in UNIX/Linux, SQL and RDBMS
  • Knowledge in Oracle, AWS would be an added advantage
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl etc..)
  • Basic skills in at least one object oriented programming language (Eg: Java)
  • Knowledge in CI/CD processes will be an additional advantage

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm


Educational Requirements
  • The candidate should have completed or be in the final stages of a Computer Science, IT or an Engineering degree from a recognised/accredited university
