We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Executive to join our cheese manufacturing company in Colombo. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in FMCG marketing and a passion for the food industry. As a Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and drive brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to promote our products and increase brand visibility.
• Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and competitor activities, and use the insights to inform marketing strategies.
• Utilize modern marketing tactics, including digital marketing, social media, and online advertising, to reach target audiences and maximize brand exposure.
• Coordinate with design and creative teams to develop visually appealing marketing materials, including packaging, labels, and promotional materials.
• Plan and execute trade shows, events, and product launches, ensuring effective representation of the brand and generating leads.
• Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, tracking key metrics and providing reports to management with insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and logistics, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies and objectives.
• Monitor and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in FMCG marketing, preferably within the food industry.
• Knowledge in digital marketing, social media, and online advertising.
• Strong creativity and ability to think outside the box when developing marketing campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor and interpret marketing data and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and marketing software tools.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with the cheese and dairy industry is a plus.
