Position - Senior UI/UX Engineer

At Mad Mobile LK we develop an end-to-end technology platforms that power connected experiences for restaurants and retailers.​

We have forged partnerships with Apple, Salesforce, Oracle, and many other tech leaders that help us expand the capabilities of our platform to serve our customers better and seek out new markets.

We have a dedicated UI team who work closely with the US design team in designing and developing professional and polished user interfaces that power CAKE’s web and mobile applications using a structured, iterative approach to UI design.

We are currently on the lookout for a Senior UI/UX Engineer who can think creatively and has an artistic eye for design.

The Role:

• Develop modular, scalable, and responsive UI solutions using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Develop UIs to support all major browsers and implement UI standards for optimal code quality.
• Analyze the user experience by evaluating the business requirements/designs and provide feedback to come up with optimal UX solutions.
• Optimize CSS, JavaScript and UI code for best performance.
• Provide suggestions on UI tools and UI solutions to deliver best user experiences.
• Work closely with members of Product and Design teams to translate concepts into prototypes and assist engineering teams with the final implementation.

The Profile:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience in design platforms such as Figma.
• Strong knowledge in UI frameworks and Design Systems.
• Solid knowledge of responsive layout development with cross browser support.
• Expert level knowledge of HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript.
• Experience in working with CSS preprocessors.
• Ability to think creatively with artistic eye for design.
• An understanding of the latest design trends and their usages.
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Ember) is an added advantage.
