Position - SEO Specialist
Education/ Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor of Computing, Business, Information Technology or similar areas of studies
- More than three years of experience in a similar capacity
- Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms
- Knowledge of basic concepts of building web pages, HTTP, JavaScript and content management
- Ability to create, justify, communicate and implement SEO strategies across teams and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
- Proficient in working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
- Experience in interfacing between business and implementation units
- Knowledge of WordPress, BrightEdge and advanced SEO tools would be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills, with an ability to meet deadlines and work a multi-cultural environment
- Domain knowledge of capital markets/mutual funds/ETFs would be an added advantage
Responsibilities:
- Understand and implement technical SEO audits/changes and execute on-page optimisations
- Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyse and improve SEO performance
- Build and automate dashboards and compelling data visualisations to provide meaningful insights into website performance and user engagement
- Identify issues and recommend resolutions, while working closely with key business leaders to offer alternatives and enhancements
- Perform keyword research as per client business objectives to optimise existing content and discover new opportunities
- Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports to develop and recommend SEO strategies
- Use data and reports to optimise and enhance web user journeys
- Prepare process guides and documentations and provide support for ad hoc projects
- Assist in the creation of performance attribution reports, charting and analysis, and provide recommendations
