This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following :
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and governance of the technical aspects of a Product Performance and Product Quality Lifecycle management.
- Provide technical support to the Commercial and Category teams for delivery of new products.
- Lead Technical Transfers, New Product Introductions, Technical Risk Assessments, Product Control Strategies, Continued Process Verification
- Delivery of process improvement/optimization projects that contribute to key metrics.
- Ensure rapid resolution of technical issues impacting supply through use of root cause analysis tools.
- Engage with global technical community in the Haleon network and be par with latest developments in the industry.
- Support transfers of products from/to other sites, ensuring that a consistent control strategy is applied.
- Ensures that standard work is in place to translate the Product Control Strategy into clear manufacturing instructions.
- Ensures that Operators have appropriate product knowledge and training to execute the manufacturing.
- Accountable for the technical input to the lifecycle validation approach for the product.
- Ensures that the specification and analytical methodologies are in place and appropriately used and regularly reviewed.
- Maintain Product Quality Risk Model and risk mitigation plans.
- Provide technical support to manage site capital spent.
- Leads cost saving initiatives to improve quality and efficiencies in new product introduction.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A degree from a reputed university related to Engineering (Chemical/process/Mechanical), B. Sc Pharmacy/B. Pharm or Food technology.
- Experience in technology transfer/ R & D/Product development/Manufacturing with an understanding of the Pharmaceutical/food manufacturing process
- and ability to evaluate potential innovative technology areas relevant to product will be an added advantage.
- Project management skills: Proven ability to plan, manage and lead cross-functional projects with local/international teams.
- High level of energy, initiative, leadership
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Green belt in lean/six sigma and exposure in SAP ERP/ NPI tools will be an added advantage.
- MBA / MSc / MEng will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to research / International paper publications will be an added advantage
- 10+ years of experience
