You will be responsible for writing key technical documentation related to our product suite, such as manuals, articles, how to's, technical specifications, use cases and so forth.
The ideal candidate will be interested in researching and gaining a deep understanding of our apps, and working with the product and engineering teams to write clean, concise and readable documentation; the ability to write in a language that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences is imperative.
Responsibilities and Skills
- Be able to research and learn our products and services and deliver documentation related to these areas
- Write easy to understand content that meets the needs of specific audiences
- Create and utilise templates to ensure that documentation maintains consistency in look and feel
- Maintain a repository of all documentation that follows best practices for headings and tags to make them easily searchable
- Review existing documentation and content and re-write as needed
- Work with Product Owners to create strong product-related documentation for both internal and external stakeholders
- Storm up innovative ideas for content that could serve internal and external stakeholders
- Meet with leads to ensure specialised topics and ad-hoc requests are accounted for
- Review documentation created by other team members to ensure they comply to set standards and levels of comprehension
- Strong communication skills; especially written and verbal
