About the job:

Are you an avid traveller with an innate passion for exploring the world? If so, we are seeking a Travel Consultant like yourself to join our team! You will be responsible for promoting and booking travelling arrangements for clients (individuals or businesses). The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carefully evaluate the specific requirements and desires of each client, and then recommend customized travel packages and services that align with their preferences.
• Manage every aspect of the travel process, from booking accommodations and transportation to securing rental vehicles and other necessary arrangements.
• Provide travellers with all relevant and useful information, as well as travel materials like maps, guides, and event schedules to ensure an enjoyable and stress-free experience.
• Collect both initial deposits and final balances from clients as required.
• Tackle unforeseen problems and complaints in a professional and efficient manner, evaluating customer eligibility for monetary compensation as needed.
• Forge lasting relationships with key clients, both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C).
• Meet established revenue and profit targets through astute financial management and a consistent focus on customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or a relevant field. (Preferred but not necessary.)
• 4-5 years of proven working experience as a Travel Consultant. (Preferred but not necessary.)
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Well-versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual, etc.)
• A knack for delivering multiple outputs within tight turnaround times, as needed.
• Capacity to deliver commendable services that surpass clients' expectations.
• Top-notch interpersonal skills, including communication, respect, and empathy.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• System-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office.
