Position - DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate processes and streamline application deployments.
- Develop and maintain pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the high availability and performance of cloud services.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate controls.
- Work closely with the team to develop and enforce security policies and best practices.
- Implement and maintain access controls, IAM policies, and encryption mechanisms to protect sensitive data.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and coordinate with relevant teams for incident response and resolution.
- Participate in capacity planning, performance optimisation, and cost management initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to cloud computing, DevOps, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud computing.
- Strong experience with services, including EC2, ECS, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, , or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of security principles, best practices, and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as , , or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitLab , or CodePipeline.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a distributed cloud environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Start-up ecosystem is a huge PLUS.
