DevOps Engineer

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and design robust and scalable solutions for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implement and maintain automated processes for software build, deployment, and monitoring using industry-leading tools and technologies.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources on both AWS and Azure, ensuring cost-efficiency and high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement, recommending enhancements to meet performance and security goals.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards across cloud environments.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing, incorporating relevant advancements into the company's infrastructure.
• Offer guidance, coaching, and support to help team members improve their skills and overcome challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, working with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer certifications.
• Strong expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud-native technologies and serverless computing.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
