Position - Director QA, R&D Quality & Support Team

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure software products are developed with quality in mind
  • Contribute to company roadmap for QA
  • Support, coach and mentor teams in best practices in areas like:
    • Review and analyze software requirements and design specifications
    • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts
    • Manual and automated tests
    • Participatingin product design and code reviews
    • Identify and prioritize defects and issues, and work with development teams to resolve them
    • Agile testing
  • Evaluate and report on the quality of our software products
  • Design, develop and implement software quality assurance strategies and processes than span the whole organization
  • Participate in projects and initiatives in the QA area. Level of participation can vary from consultant to project owner, requirements owner or implementation owner.
  • Mentor and guide team members on best practices in software quality assurance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on software architecture
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and processes
  • Experience with software architecture design and review
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
