Position - Director QA, R&D Quality & Support Team
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure software products are developed with quality in mind
- Contribute to company roadmap for QA
- Support, coach and mentor teams in best practices in areas like:
- Review and analyze software requirements and design specifications
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Manual and automated tests
- Participatingin product design and code reviews
- Identify and prioritize defects and issues, and work with development teams to resolve them
- Agile testing
- Evaluate and report on the quality of our software products
- Design, develop and implement software quality assurance strategies and processes than span the whole organization
- Participate in projects and initiatives in the QA area. Level of participation can vary from consultant to project owner, requirements owner or implementation owner.
- Mentor and guide team members on best practices in software quality assurance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on software architecture
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and processes
- Experience with software architecture design and review
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
