Position - Head of IT and Infrastructure

We provide telecom operators and healthcare providers next generation technology from AI-driven digital transformation tools to preventative digital health solutions powered by Augmented Reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage the IT department and provide leadership to a team of IT professionals.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure.
- Oversee the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Implement and maintain IT service management best practices, such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework, to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide efficient IT solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for technology adoption and integration.
- Lead and oversee the implementation and management of Kubernetes and cloud services (AWS, GCP, and Azure) within the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data protection, and cybersecurity standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing IT systems and infrastructure, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, software, and cybersecurity principles.
- IT service management experience, including familiarity with ITIL framework and related processes.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
