Position - Head of IT and Infrastructure

Who we are:

We are a technology company based in Singapore with customers and operations across 27 countries in 4 continents. We provide telecom operators and healthcare providers next generation technology from AI-driven digital transformation tools to preventative digital health solutions powered by Augmented Reality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the IT department and provide leadership to a team of IT professionals.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Oversee the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Implement and maintain IT service management best practices, such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework, to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide efficient IT solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for technology adoption and integration.
  • Lead and oversee the implementation and management of Kubernetes and cloud services (AWS, GCP, and Azure) within the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data protection, and cybersecurity standards.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing IT systems and infrastructure, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, software, and cybersecurity principles.
  • IT service management experience, including familiarity with ITIL framework and related processes.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
