Position - Intern Database Engineering

In this role you will:
- Assist in database system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Collaborate on routine database tasks like backups, restores, and migrations.
- Identify and address database performance bottlenecks.
- Analyze query execution plans for performance improvements.
- Contribute to automation for provisioning and monitoring.
- Assist with incident resolution.
- Maintain database documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth database operations and knowledge sharing.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with one or more database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
