About Us
Tutopiya's story began in 2017 when our Chief Executive Officer/Founder Nuha Ghouse was teaching students from many of the leading international schools in Singapore. Prior to moving to Singapore, she taught students from leading private schools in the UK.
Nuha was determined to provide an effective live online tutoring experience as she wished to help her students who traveled long distances in public transport to her home. She partnered with Buddhika Jayawardhana, our Chief Technology Officer who has previously built a Tutoring platform when he was studying at the university, to build Tutopiya.

Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their career in recruitment and gain exposure to all elements of the recruitment function. You will provide support to deliver a timely and efficient recruitment process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain excellent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, creating an excellent candidate experience and supporting and developing our brand reputation.
- Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Keep records of all conversations in our database in a comprehensible way
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email, or chat
- Follow communication scripts when handling different topics
- Identifying opportunities for improving the candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
- Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively
Work Location: Work from Home
Languages Known: English
Working days: 5 days a week
Working Timings: 8:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m.
Basic Requirements: Need to have own laptop and call recording option in the phone
