Job Summary:

Leaap Media, a dynamic and innovative marketing agency, is seeking a talented and creative Junior Videographer to join our team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. As a Junior Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality videos for a wide range of projects, including marketing campaigns, social media content, promotional videos, and client presentations. Responsibilities:

- Film and capture high-quality video footage using professional equipment, ensuring proper lighting, composition, and sound quality.

- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop video concepts that align with client requirements and marketing objectives.

- Edit raw video footage to create compelling and engaging videos that effectively convey the intended message and brand identity.

- Employ industry-standard video editing software to trim footage, add special effects, graphics, and transitions, and optimize audio quality.

- Work closely with the marketing team to understand project goals, target audience, and brand guidelines, ensuring videos meet the desired objectives.

- Manage post-production tasks, including color correction, audio synchronization, and final video rendering in various formats suitable for different platforms.

- Stay up to date with emerging trends, techniques, and equipment in videography and video editing, and provide innovative suggestions to enhance video quality and storytelling.

- Organize and maintain video assets and archives for easy retrieval and future use.

- Assist in the setup and operation of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during video shoots.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project delivery and maintain open communication throughout the production process.

- Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

- A portfolio of previous videography and video editing work demonstrating technical proficiency and creative storytelling abilities.

- Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices.

- Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

- Basic understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and other post-production techniques.

- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and composition.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

- Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends.

- A degree or diploma in filmmaking, multimedia, visual arts, or a related field is preferred.

- Prior experience in a videography or video editing role is a plus.
