Position - Manager Technical
Scope
The Manager – Technical leads the team of Garment Technologists and is responsible for ensuring achievement of the Technical / Fit & Construction KPIs for the assigned customer category. The role holder collaborates with the customer / buying house technical teams and internal stakeholders on the technical aspects including style clarifications, development risk assessment, construction validation, pattern making, consumption costing, sample development / approvals and effective production handover.
Responsibilities
- Planning and deploying Technical / Fit & Construction objectives
- Driving technical aspects of Product Development, including risk assessment, construction validation, pattern development, consumption costing and sample development / approvals
- Ensuring achievement of Production Handover / Integration objectives
- Collaborating with the internal & external stake holders for achievement of the functional KPIs
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelors’ Degree / Diploma in Clothing Technology
- 6 to 8+ years’ experience in Product Development with strong exposure to Technical / Fit and construction concepts and best practices
