Position - QA Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated technical writer to join our company.

The primary role of the software technical writer is to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner, using language and terminology that is easily understandable for non-technical users. The individual should work closely with software developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.

Responsibilities:

• Creating, updating and proof-reading technical documentation such as user manuals, installation guides, configuration guides and other necessary training materials.
• · Researching and understanding software features.
• · Collaborating with development teams and other stakeholders.
• · Ensuring documentation is in good quality, accessible and user-friendly.
• · Maintaining documentation standards aligning with organizational expectations.
• · Managing multiple documentation projects including creating timelines, assigning tasks, and coordinating with team members.
• · Timely delivery and being responsible for the documentation deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant technical field.
• 2+ years of experience as an effective technical writer or in similar capacity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and being a fast learner.
• Experience with documentation & diagramming tools such MS Office Package, MS Visio etc.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of user experience design and user-cantered design principles.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies by working in the software industry.
• Knowledge of markup languages such as HTML, XML will be an added advantage.
