Responsibilities:
As a Part-time QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, identify defects, and document your findings thoroughly.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that issues are resolved and no new problems are introduced.
- Test Automation: Contribute to test automation efforts to improve testing efficiency.
- Bug Reporting: Clearly report defects, track them through resolution, and verify fixes.
- Documentation: Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve software quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
