Trainee Application Security Engineer

Position - Trainee Application Security Engineer

We are looking for excellent individuals to enroll in our Trainee Security Engineer for IT Department. The selected candidate will receive the practical training and experience required to take on a role as a Security Engineer upon successful completion of the Program.

As an Application Security Engineer, you will work as a part of our security operation team, and you will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that user data is protected.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining software application security policies and procedures
• Providing technical guidance, and direction to the application security team
• Developing and maintaining documentation of application security controls
• Implementing software application and DevOps (cloud platforms) security controls
• Designing technical solutions to address security weaknesses in code and platforms
• Analyzing system services, spotting issues in code, networks and applications
• Following security best practices in performing tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in Information Security or related fields (good to have)
• Minimum 1 years experience in application penetration testing (good to have)
• Minimum 1 years in RnD (good to have)
• Minimum 1 years as a security consultant (good to have)
• Technical knowledge - Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube (or similar), Trivy (or Similar)
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior management across multiple departments
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
