Position Overview:

As a Junior Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for our client, a respected IT company in Sri Lanka. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support the company's growth and contribute to its continued success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research and lead generation.
  • Assist in developing and implementing effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective clients through calls, emails, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with senior business development professionals to nurture client relationships and build a strong client base.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Actively participate in negotiations and assist in closing deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular reports on business development progress to the senior management team.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a business development or sales role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Familiarity with the IT industry is a plus.
