Position Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in enhancing the development, deployment, and delivery processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and ensure the efficiency and reliability of software releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate, build, and deploy applications.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IAC) for efficient and scalable deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate in planning, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Maintain and update system configurations and ensure security and compliance.
- Utilize containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to optimize deployment.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging tools to track system performance.
- Assist in capacity planning and scaling resources as needed.
- Stay updated on DevOps best practices and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Shell, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and infrastructure as code (IAC) tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
