Position - Intern Business Analyst / Project Management
We are seeking a highly motivated and tenacious individual to join our team as a Business Analyst / Project Management Intern. This role is crucial in supporting the go-to-market efforts of Daraz's new fintech venture, Koko, in Sri Lanka. Koko is a Buy Now Pay Later payment platform incubated under Daraz, with a mission to revolutionize the shopping experience by providing interest-free payment plans. We are committed to responsible spending, empowering customers to access what they need while maintaining financial wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal and external development teams for feature deployments and bug fixes.
- Network effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Manage and track multiple projects, meeting deadlines consistently.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer among teams and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Plan and create Product and Business Requirement Documentation (PRDs and BRDs).
- Collaborate with development teams to implement requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in day-to-day inter-departmental operations.
- Monitor business performance and collaborate with teams for improvements.
- Update trackers and prepare data analysis reports.
- Present findings and recommend solutions to the business.
- Handle administrative tasks as needed by management.
- Gain exposure in stakeholder management, leadership, business analytics, and operations.
- Create project status visualizations for easy monitoring.
- Contribute to drafting company policies, standard operating procedures, and correspondence.

Candidate Requirements:
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounts, Computer Science, Business Management, Marketing, Information & Technology, or any equivalent
- qualification in CIM/SLIM.
- Freshers with a passion for the Fintech industry are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written English skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (advanced knowledge in Excel) and Google Applications.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Energetic, ambitious, detail-oriented, and a proactive mindset.
- Basic understanding of Figma (preferred).
- Basic understanding of product and project management (preferred).
