Role Description
This is a full-time on-site internship role for an Information Security Intern located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The Information Security Intern will assist in monitoring security systems and conducting vulnerability testing. The Intern will also review security logs and investigate security incidents, and will assist in the preparation of reports on security incidents.
Qualifications
- Should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or be in the final stages of obtaining a degree in Information Technology (Specialized in Cybersecurity), or a related field.
- Strong interest in Information Security and Cybersecurity.
- Understanding of current security trends and threats.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and information, and to document findings and recommendations.
- Experience in security vulnerability testing and auditing is a plus.
- Should possess excellent communication skills, analytical and critical thinking skills, and be enthusiastic, ambitious, proactive, and a team player.
