Job Description
As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be a vital contributor to our client's mission of delivering top-notch digital solutions. Your role involves reviewing requirements, technical design documents, and specifications to provide valuable feedback, performing meticulous risk analysis, and crafting detailed and comprehensive test plans and cases.

What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree in Software Design, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience writing unit tests and integration tests for frontend and backend applications.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Mocha.
- Proficiency with automated testing tools like Selenium and Puppeteer.
- A keen eye for design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player mentality.
- Exceptional time management skills.
What awaits you in this role?
- Keeping track of all payments, expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Maintaining historical records.
- Paying vendors by scheduling paychecks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance.
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
- Continuing to improve the payment process.
- Handling other ad hoc duties as required.
- Preparing month-end journals for Kurmond Group monthly accounts.
- Performing bank reconciliations for multiple accounts across various entities.
- Preparing monthly BAS workings for Kurmond Homes & Trust entities.
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts for multiple entities.
- Processing fortnightly payroll and monthly commissions.
- Preparing workings for payroll tax lodgment and other statutory reporting.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register.
- Assisting with weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Supervising accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Organizing weekly payment runs for multiple entities.
- Managing and reconciling intercompany transactions.
- Assisting with the preparation of the monthly reporting pack.
- Assisting in year-end financial reporting, statutory compliance, and lodgment.
- Assisting with the annual financial audit.
- Coordinating with our external accountants on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Coordinating the implementation, update, and monitoring of accounting and financial systems.
