Position - PHP and Laravel Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled PHP and Laravel Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our PHP-based web applications using the Laravel framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
· Collaborate with the team to gather and analyze project requirements, propose technical solutions, and provide accurate estimations for development tasks.
· Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
· Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
· Optimize application performance and implement necessary security measures.
· Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces and seamless user experiences.
· Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to established guidelines.
· Continuously update your knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and related technologies, and share your expertise with the team.
· Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
· Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
· Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and evaluate their potential for implementation in our projects.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
· Strong expertise in Laravel framework, including experience with Laravel MVC architecture and its ecosystem.
· Proficient in PHP coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.
· In-depth knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
· Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficient in writing optimized SQL queries.
· Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
· Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
· Understanding of front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Vue.js, React) and experience with front-end development is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and troubleshoot issues.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
