Position - Senior Art Director at Purple Ninja
Purple Ninja, a renowned Australian agency , is in search of a Senior Art Director. This pivotal role is designed for someone with the flair to define the visual direction for some of the leading ecommerce brands from Australia and the U.S., and the leadership to guide our enthusiastic creative team.
Responsibilities:
1. Establish and refine a visual design strategy in alignment with the brand's ethos and objectives.
2. Spearhead the design of a range of digital assets, including social media ads, website interfaces, pitch decks, and video content.
3. Provide guidance, direction, and feedback to the graphic design team, ensuring the highest quality of output.
4. Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to conceive and roll out impactful creative campaigns.
5. Stay abreast of current design trends and innovations, ensuring our brand remains at the cutting edge.
6. Ensure timely and effective delivery of creative projects, from inception to completion.
7. Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Qualifications:
1. A degree in Design or a closely related field.
2. A minimum of 6 years' experience in an Art Director role or a similar senior creative position.
3. Proficiency in the nuances of graphic design and brand development.
4. A compelling portfolio that underscores your prowess in both digital and print mediums.
5. Strong leadership abilities, coupled with sound organizational skills.
6. Expertise in design software, including:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) – 5+ years
- Sketch – 4+ years
- CorelDraw – 3+ years
- Figma or related UI/UX tools – 4+ years
7. Video editing experience would be an added advantage.
8. Fluent in English, with the capability to lead discussions, present to clients, and oversee a team effectively in the language.
Compensation:
LKR 380,000 per month
