Position - Senior Family Lawyer
Job Description:
We are currently in search of a dedicated Family Law Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, predominantly in family law, and a supplementary understanding of corporate law. Experience or qualifications from the Australian jurisdiction, either through educational qualifications or professional experience, will be highly regarded. Your role will be pivotal in guiding our legal operations, ensuring our practices and services adhere to relevant legal standards and regulations, particularly in the realm of family law in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on a comprehensive range of family law matters, with occasional insights into corporate and commercial law.
- Independently draft, review, and finalize family law documents, such as prenuptial agreements, divorce filings, and custody arrangements, ensuring they align with the company’s interests and legal standards.
- Navigate through complex family law cases, providing strategic and legal advice to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients.
- Collaborate with various
- departments to identify legal requirements and devise actionable solutions in family law matters.
- Conduct thorough research and produce reports summarizing your findings in relevant family law cases.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in family law, especially within the Australian context, and ensure the knowledge is applied in practice.
- Assist in structuring and organizing workflow, as well as implementing document management in family law cases.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Law from an Australian institution or affiliated institution is strongly preferred, Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in family law, with a supplementary understanding of corporate law.
- Experience or qualifications from the Australian jurisdiction will be particularly valuable.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a strategic and empathetic outlook, especially in sensitive family law matters.
- Superior communication abilities, both written and spoken. Must be adept at working in a remote team setting and handling sensitive client communications.
