Position - Senior Information Technology Administrator

Global Tote Lankan (Private) Limited is a subsidiary of The BetMakers Technology Group (ASX:BET) which has become a key technology solutions provider for the wagering industry globally. The Global Tote Lankan, was established in August 2017, with just six staff, as an IT service provider for the BetMakers Technology. Over the span of just a few years, the Global Tote Lankan team has expanded to 120+ staff as we cater to a growing list of international clients.

Global Tote Lankan team is now an integral part of the BetMakers Technology, working closely with software development teams based across Australia, seeking to equip clients with the right technology solutions to solve their operational challenges. These solutions have become the foundation for companies to succeed in competitive environments and to achieve increased returns on their IT investments.

As a Senior IT Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the Company’s information technology (IT) infrastructure and providing technical assistance to endusers. The role involves ensuring that computer systems, software, hardware, networks, and other technology-related resources are functioning smoothly to support the organization's operations. This role will also be responsible for driving the IT Service Management (ITSM) function using ServiceNow across the business to ensure that BetMakers staff, their systems, tools and infrastructure are managed efficiently. Your role will also involve mentoring junior IT staff, documenting procedures, and staying up to date with the latest advancements in IT administration.


Key Responsibilities

● Be the local IT support contact for the Sri Lanka office, contributing to the overall ITSMfunction to ensure the business can scale efficiently.

● Provide a mix of face-to-face and remote technical support.

● Contribute to the internal IT support function from end-to-end including but not limited to:

o Staff onboarding / offboarding

o G-Suite administration

o Core software administration (ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Slack)

o Hardware support (printers, desktops, laptops - windows and mac, tablets)

o Creating and maintaining staff asset register (e.g., laptops, mobile phones, tablets).

● Owning the IT Hardware procurement area and being responsible for ordering all equipment required.

● Working closely with the Finance team to ensure IT & Technology related invoices andpurchases are reconciled.

● Contribute to the ServiceNow ITSM roll out and ongoing capabilities within the business.

● Strong customer experience (CX) focus - ensuring that they live out the Global Support team’s core values of:

● Continuously reviewing, evaluating and optimizing current processes for effective and efficient operation of the IT support function locally (SL) as well as thinking globally for the future.

● Monitor and maintain network and server infrastructure.

● Working with the finance team on the procurement of new equipment within budget.

● Liaise with a variety of vendors on the procurement of equipment for all Sri Lanka office.

● Ensuring they have the necessary tools and documentation to perform.

● Proactively manage the business’ expectations through the IT support lifecycle.

● Maintain the prioritization of workflows and incident reporting.

● Foster a safe environment internally for the wider teams to challenge each other and develop every day.

● Act as a key conduit between the technical and non-technical teams within the business.

● You are required to comply with the Information Security Policy and the obligations as set out within the policy.


Qualifications & Requirements

● 3+ years’ experience in a technical support role within a corporate environment.

● Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or equivalent qualification.

● Experience working in an internal service desk / help desk function from the ground up would be highly regarded.

● Knowledge and/or experience of the wagering and horse racing industry would be highly regarded but not essential.

● Experience with using ServiceNow ITSM.

● Experience with CISCO networking is a bonus.

● Experience with IT hardware and asset procurement.

● Vendor management experience and working with 3rd party Suppliers.

● Demonstrated experience with desktop/laptop support (Windows & Mac) as well as administering core applications for staff within a business (G-Suite, MS Office, Slack, Atlassian, ServiceNow).

● Ability to think critically and draw from experience to make decisions.

● Excellent documentation and data management abilities.
