Position - Senior Software Engineer - .Net & Angular

Optimo is a UK based world class software solutions provider for the venue and event management sector with a history spanning over 20 years. We are in the process of expanding our team and are looking for top talent to join us on our journey towards excellence.

Responsibilities

• Development and Coding: You will need to actively participate in the coding and implementation of software projects using .Net & Angular. You are expected to write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: You will need to play a key role in identifying and resolving complex technical issues. You need to use your expertise to troubleshoot problems, debug code, and provide technical support to the team.
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: As a SSE you will need to review code written by other team members to ensure compliance with coding standards, maintainability, and efficiency. You need to conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the software.
• Providing Technical Guidance and Mentoring: You will often need to take a leadership role in providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaboration and Communication: You will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers. Ensure to effectively communicate technical concepts, requirements, and project updates to team members and stakeholders.
• Continuous Learning & Development: As an SSE working for us you will need to learn and grow with us enhancing your knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• A degree in Software Engineering.
• A Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a full stack software engineer.
• Experience in .Net development is necessary.
• Knowledge in Angular is necessary.
• Knowledge in C#, MVC, Web API, Java Script.
• Understanding of OOP concepts, Database knowledge in MS SQL.
• Proficiency in building web-based applications.
• Familiarity with version control system (TFS/GIT) is an added advantage.
• Sound communication and team working skills.
• Must possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
