Job Overview
The Senior Systems Engineer (SE) will be responsible for developing our existing systems to meet business challenges, he/she will liaise with relevant stakeholders to design, document and develop new automations as well as implementation and testing. The SE will also manage and monitor existing systems to ensure smooth business operations. Additionally, the candidate will mentor and lead a team of junior developers and analysts to fulfil the above requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop features on Salesforce and other external/internal systems
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify new requirements
- Document changes
- Design and develop new features
- Guide and mentor junior members
- Provide technical support
Core Skills
- Prior experience in working with Salesforce
- Programming Language/s /scripting (Java/ Python)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of computer logic
- A high level of mathematical ability
- Expertise in data modelling
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great command in English to work with overseas team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters/bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, mathematics, or business management.
- A high degree of proficiency in SQL database, data modelling, data analysis, Excel
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent planning, organizing and solid understanding in the data management and analytical skills
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in designing and developing systems and infrastructure
- Prior work experience with Salesforce will be an added advantage
- Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java and Python)
- Hands-on experience with SQL database design
