We’re a Singapore-based technology services company looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Systems Administrator to be part of our dynamic team in Colombo. As our Systems Administrator specializing in Azure Stack and MS 365, you'll be responsible for the optimization, management, and troubleshooting of our hybrid cloud environment and Microsoft services. Your in-depth knowledge will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and performance of our systems.
Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 (MS 365) Administration:
- Administer and manage MS 365 services, including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and MFA.
- Ensure security and compliance for MS 365 services.
- Resolve technical issues related to MS 365.
Microsoft Server and Core Services:
- Manage Microsoft Server environments, including AD, DNS, RDS, SSL Certificates, and File/Print services.
- Ensure Microsoft Server infrastructure's performance, availability, and security.
User Support and Training:
- Provide top-tier technical support to end-users for the mentioned systems.
- Conduct training sessions and draft user documentation to enhance end-user understanding.
Optional: VMware Infrastructure:
- Manage VMware infrastructure components, like vCenter, ESXi, and more.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of VMware platforms.
Optional: Citrix Components:
- Administer Citrix components, including Citrix Cloud and other core components.
- Ensure optimal performance and availability of Citrix environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years as a Systems Administrator, with at least 2 years focused on Azure Stack.
- Profound knowledge of Azure Stack architecture, services, and operations.
- Strong understanding of virtualization, networking, and storage fundamentals.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Proven experience with security best practices within the Azure Stack environment.
- Proficiency in administering MS 365 services, especially Azure AD, Exchange Online, and others.
- Relevant certifications in MS 365, Microsoft Server, or similar.
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft Server environments, such as AD, DNS, and more.
- Stellar communication skills and adeptness at collaborating in a remote team setting.
- Robust problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking.
- Optional: Previous experience with VMware infrastructure components (a plus).
- Optional: Familiarity with Citrix components, including Citrix Cloud (a plus).
