Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Colombo for a Tamil Content Writer. As a Tamil Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing content for websites, social media platforms, and other digital channels in Tamil language. Your role is to write engaging content that will attract the target audience and promote increased web traffic and conversions. You will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure that the content meets the company’s standards and objectives.
Qualifications
- Excellent command of Tamil language, grammar, syntax, and punctuation
- Fluent in English, Tamil and Sinhalese with excellent writing and communication skills in all languages
- Excellent research skills and experience writing on a variety of topics
- Experience in writing for digital platforms such as websites, social media, blogs, and other online media
- Experience in using various content management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing trends is a plus
