Role Description
The Trainee System Engineer - M365 is a full-time hybrid role located in Colombo with flexibility for some remote work. You'll be responsible for providing technical support for Microsoft 365, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and working with the wider team to ensure smooth operation of all digital systems. You'll have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills, and work closely with experienced professionals to gain experience in the technology field.
Qualifications
* 6 months+ of experience in Microsoft 365 administration and support as an intern or trainee
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience
* Experience with deployment, migration, and administration of Microsoft 365 solutions is an added advantage
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange
* Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English
* Understanding of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, and DNS
* Understanding of cloud concepts and modern cloud architectures
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when required
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a detail-oriented mindset
* A desire to learn and grow in their IT career
* Experience with Azure, Power Platform, and other Microsoft technologies is a plus
* Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, are a plus
