Position - Assistant Accountant

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or / and CA/ACCA/ CIMA fully or partial qualification
Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity will be an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Excel is essential
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues at all levels
Residence around Colombo area is preferred


JOB ROLE

Review monthly financials
Review the Bank reconciliation are performed daily basis and provide the assurance on the Bank reconciliation closure
Review and confirm the month end provision list shared by the Accounts Payable team and review the month Bill report
Develop the SOP for the General Ledger Section
Review the Inter-Company transaction reconciliation process
Carry out the Budget Engagements with Business teams
Cash flow forecasting and Actual Monitoring
Managing working capital, cash flow, budgeting, reviewing, analyzing and preparing various financial information needed by head of Finance
Liaising with external auditors, Financial institutions.
