Position - Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are expanding our strong engineering team and looking for a talented Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our company at an exciting stage of growth.
Responsibilities
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the domain and the product, develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans and test cases to ensure high quality software product delivery.
- Develop strong product knowledge
- Design, develop, maintain, and review manual and automation test plans, suites, and scripts based on user stories and requirements
- Evaluate, design and develop test framework for UI and API Automation Test using Selenium
- Perform different levels of testing based on Business requirements – Functional, Regression, Integration, and Interface testing.
- Compile test coverage reports and assist the team in evaluating the risk of releases
- Find, isolate, document, and track bugs through to resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Software Engineers) to find solutions and improvements
- Participate actively in the scrum ceremonies - sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and retro
- Contribute to continuous process improvements
Ideal Candidate:
This role would suit an individual with the following qualifications, skills, and experience,
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent academic qualification
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and willingness to contribute to new/ improved processes and methodologies
- Working knowledge of industry best practices for QA coupled with experience in setting up Automation test practices, QA processes, testing tools, and infrastructure
- Knowledge in developing test automation frameworks using open-source tools such as Selenium in Java or .NET
- Highly motivated, with a "can do" attitude, enthusiasm, and drive to learn
- A self-starter with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies and principles
