Whether you have an academic background or just a lot of experience is less important to us, what we are interested in is someone with a good track record in similar positions. To be successful in this role you likely have at least 1 - 3 years experience as a Business Analyst.

Since we are a fully remote company, it’s a plus plus if you have worked in a remote organisation previously.

Wearing the hat of a Business Analyst

Life is always exciting as a Business Analyst! This is what it would look like at Saltside:

• You will play an active and vital role in the business analysis which will include requirement gathering, gap analysis, systems analysis & design, and assessing & validating the solutions.
• You will be communicating with business stakeholders, analyzing system and feature requirements, and documenting the functions and features by devising various requirements elicitation & analysis techniques.
• You will be building powerful user stories that focus on the context of the solution to meet the respective business needs.
• You will be preparing the mock ups, wireframes using business tools to support those user stories.
• You will be preparing use case diagrams, process flow diagrams and various other business requirement documentation.
• You will be assisting in project planning, managing and maintaining the backlogs and UAT in an agile development environment.
• You will be conducting user presentations, user training & product walk - through sessions.
• You will be performing project management activities liaising with business users and internal developments teams & application vendors for new project implementations & maintenance of existing solutions.
• You will be participating in daily stand-up meetings to update the team on progress and identify any blockers.

Compatibility Check

Our search will come to an end when we find someone with:

• 1-3 years of work experience as a BA in eCommerce or similar industries.
• Good understanding of the SDLC process and experience in working in an agile environment.
• Good analytical and conceptual thinking. Technical skills will be considered an added advantage.
• The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to learn quickly and work independently with complex, structured/ unstructured initiatives.

Familiarity with the above-mentioned tools and skillsets might help, but even if you do not, do apply if you think you’re right for the job!

Chocolates and Pizzas

• Salary range: 130,000 LKR - 150,000 LKR
