Consultant - UI/UX Designer

Position - User Experience/Interface Designer

Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, XD

• 3-4 years of professional design experience
• Solid understanding of lead journey and marketing funnel
• Basic understanding of web languages (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, XD
• Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Word
• Illustration & animation skills experience a plus

Specific Responsibilities

Work closely with internal stakeholders, marketing teams, and agencies/vendors to implement UX/UI designs on time and to spec

Responsible for owning the feedback loop and testing of designs, collecting and addressing feedback.

Support the continuous improvement of UI designs, techniques, and best practices to generate high-quality leads and elevate the Virtusa brand

Support ongoing growth of web marketing capabilities and champion innovation.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in basics such as concepts, principles, patterns and best practices.
• Thoroughly tests own work before completing and do not expect external reviews.

• Competent in relevant project tools such as management, delivery, configuration, design.
• Ability to take feature ownership without external guidance.

• Qualifications bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Microsoft Certified Technical Specialists (MCTS) or Microsoft Azure Developer or relevant certification is a plus, but not required.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience using Microsoft .NET C#, JavaScript/TypeScript or related frameworks, and T-SQL.
• Experience in developing web applications and RESTful APIs using Microsoft .NET web technologies and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular/React.
• Experience in implementing web applications for Microsoft Azure Cloud platform is a plus, but not required.
