Position - Information Technology Help Desk Technician
Role Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Manage end-user issues on a daily basis
Proactively maintain user desktops and laptops
Administrate corporate e-mail system, including user configuration, normal maintenance, and upgrades
Sri Lanka new-hire IT hardware configuration, setup, and onboarding
Management of Sri Lanka hardware inventory and testing
Provide support to user connectivity issues using CITRIX
Provide application support for MSOffice products and ERP application
Establish and maintain a consistent level of service to the user community
Install software upgrades as directed by management
Within reason, provide emergency 24/7 end-user support when required
Provide remote assistance to corporate IT organizations when required
Audit hardware and software
Work with IT management to prioritize outstanding enhancement and project requests with respect to current
business priorities and needs
Coordinate the evaluation of new software technology advances regarding use within the current business
environment
Work closely with technology development to provide efficient and effective presentation of information to end-
users
Other duties as required by management
What You’ll Bring:
Working knowledge/experience with Windows and MAC OS is required
Working knowledge of Active Directory
Working knowledge of MSOffice365 applications
Highly organized self-starter
Effective written and verbal English communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools (WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS) and experience with integrating
these tools into existing applications
Ability to work independently or as a part of a project team
Ability to work U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours (local hours of 2 pm.-11 pm.)
