The Finance Intern Programme, spanning 6-months, offers an unparalleled opportunity for motivated students or recent graduates to delve deep into the realm of corporate finance. As a participant, you'll collaborate closely with experienced professionals, acquiring crucial insights and hands-on experience that will lay the groundwork for a thriving finance career.
Structured as a dynamic, half-year internship, the programme empowers you to interact with, and learn from, various key responsibilities in the finance sector. Upon successfully fulfilling the programme of this six-month journey, you'll have the opportunity to seamlessly transition into a permanent position within our organization, setting the stage for long-term professional growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Ensure that all transactions are correctly recorded and that the financial records are in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Customer Account Management: Handle student accounts, ensuring that payments are made on time and that any financial aid or scholarships are properly applied. Handle queries related to student billing and provide guidance on payment plans and options.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with legal and financial regulations. Prepare reports, assisting with audits, and staying updated on any changes in financial policies or regulations.
- Budget Management: Be involved in budget planning and management, helping to allocate funds appropriately across various departments and projects.
- Implementing Payment Technologies: With the evolving digital landscape, opportunity to be involved in implementing new payment technologies or systems to streamline payment processes, enhance security, and improve user experience.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct financial analysis to track the flow of funds and prepare financial reports which can aid in strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Work experience is not required.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Having full or partial qualifications in ACCA, CIMA, CMA, AAT, or equivalent certifications.
- Currently pursuing or have successfully completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
