Position - Intern Human Resources
Ceylon Exchange Mentoring (CEM) is a startup that operates in the fields of Capital Markets, Digital Media, and EdTech, with a mission to expand into new finance-related avenues. The company has received a strategic investment from Ataraxia Capital Partners, which has enabled it to expand into new avenues such as Digital Media and App Building under CEM Studios. CEM has a trilingual portfolio of more than 30 courses in Stock Market Investing, Fixed Income Securities Investing, Real Estate, and Cryptocurrency investing, and has helped over 1,500 students kick-start their investment journeys in the past 12 months.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Colombo with some remote work acceptable for a Human Resources Intern. The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for HR policies, employee benefits, personnel management, and HR management on a day-to-day basis. The Human Resources Intern will also provide administrative support for the HR department.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources (HR) policies and management
- Experience with personnel management and employee benefits
- Ability to provide administrative support for the HR department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Sri Lanka is a plus
- Qualifications: - Diploma in Human Resources Management or undergraduate in the field of Human Resources Management.
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
